End the Silence

The mission of Courage is Change is to end the generational cycle of abuse and violence in our children’s lives. Instances of violence, abuse and sexual assault are increasing among children and teens.

In order to end the cycle of violence we aim to accomplish two goals:

1) to create a curriculum for school age children that teaches non-violent resolutions, healthy relationship skills and coping skills and

2) to create, build and promote healthy communities.

Our philosophy is that healthy communities provide support systems to adults. Healthy supported adults provide children with better more aware parents. If healthy supported parents are part of a true community, they can serve as a support system and a positive example to not only their children, but other children in need within their community.
